Frank D. Allen is a shareholder in Archer & Greiner's Haddonfield office. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, and has specialized in personal injury matters for over twenty years. The early years of his practice were spent focusing on tax, family, and environmental litigation. A recognized advocate, Frank was lead counsel for the defense in the New Jersey Turnpike trucking accident catastrophe in Cherry Hill in 1987, and was appointed by the court as lead counsel for all plaintiffs in the truck/crash worthiness case of the Senior Care bus tragedy of 1996. He has represented individuals injured or wrongfully killed in a wide variety of circumstances, for example:

• $1.3 million settlement obtained in drug case against a Japanese manufacturer involving tainted L-tryptophane;



• $3.3 million settlement for a utility worker who lost both arms due to a defective bracket;



• $5.0 million settlement for a construction worker paralyzed by gas explosion;



• $2.5 million settlement of general aviation (small plane) crash; and



• automobile and truck collisions involving complex reconstruction accident investigations with successful recoveries in the millions of dollars.

As a result of these and numerous other matters, Frank is well versed in personal injury and insurance law, and can efficiently and aggressively handle both complex and more routine injury claims. His reputation for integrity makes him a standout in the personal injury field, whether he is representing a plaintiff or a defendant. He is often chosen by other lawyers as an arbitrator to resolve personal injury disputes, and most of Frank's cases are referred to him by other lawyers who seek his expertise in personal injury cases.

Frank is a frequent lecturer for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Education in Trial Practice, lecturer in Law at Temple University 1977-1982, and guest lecturer at Rutgers University. He is a former Member Board of American Trial Lawyers of New Jersey and Diplomat of the American Board of Trial Advocacy. Frank is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State, Federal and Local Bar Associations.

Neal L. Schonhaut is the Managing Shareholder of Archer & Greiner's Princeton office. As a result of his numerous trials throughout the years, Mr. Schonhaut has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney since 1990. A designation held by merely 2% of NJ Lawyers. He has been a part-time lecturer in the Trial Advocacy Program at Rutgers Camden Law School and is a lecturer to other lawyers at the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education in both personal injury and employment matters. Having started his career in 1979, in the New Jersey Attorney General's office, he has been invited back in past years to provide seminars to new Deputies Attorney General and has also received specially assigned cases, as outside counsel from the attorney general's office for nearly 15 years.

Since 1980 Neal has handled cases throughout the State of New Jersey in both the State Courts and Federal Courts involving significant personal injuries, whether caused by harassment, job termination, medical malpractice, or various types of accidents which cause significant injury to life and property. Examples include:

• $5.5 million settlement of wrongful death action. In that matter, Neal represented a widow and her four children who lost their husband and father as a result of a motor vehicle accident.



• $2.75 million settlement of medical malpractice action causing cerebral palsy suffered as a result of anoxia during birth.



• $1.0 million settlement of wrongful death of minor female in auto-truck accident.



• In the area of discrimination, Neal has defended national Fortune 100 and 500 companies in the areas of harassment and discrimination based on age, gender or national origin.

Additionally, since 1984, he has served as General Counsel to the New Jersey School Boards Association Insurance Group, which is a self-insurance company representing more than 150 New Jersey Boards of Education. In that capacity, he oversees outside counsel's litigation throughout the State of New Jersey and represents his Group in any contract disputes regarding insurance coverage that occurs between the Group and member Boards of Education. Neal is a member of the New Jersey State, Mercer County and Princeton Bar Associations.
